I am a filmmaker, a researcher of documentary ethics and an expert in media ventures and traumatic social and historical witnesses. I lead the field of film documentation and post-production in witness 710. The relationship between filmmaking and media in the practice of teaching and education is at the center of my work as the head of the department of communication at Oranim College and the leader of the media track in the college's master's degree studies. Documentaries I created were screened at festivals and broadcast on television networks in Israel and around the world, and I teach and lead workshops in the fields of media entrepreneurship, documentary creation and the ethics of and documentation and testimony in Oranim, in leadership programs, and in working with educational teams and social activists. During the last 15 years, I have developed creative and educational methods and ventures for the creation of documentaries as a social and community tool and cinematic testimonies as a tool for personal and social recognition and rehabilitation in the shadow of trauma. This is based on the ideas of the psychiatrist, the pioneer documenter of Holocaust evidence, Dori Laub, groundbreaking creators in the history of documentary cinema including Jean Roche and David Perlov and in light of the ethical concepts of the philosopher Emmanuel Levinas.

The Shiva events in October 2023 created a burning need to listen and document the experiences of the survivors and carry their stories in their voices. I was privileged to be among the initiators and founders of 710 Evidence, I led and shaped the documentary approach of the project and established the editing and postproduction departments of this groundbreaking project.
